Dear NASA,

My hope is that this letter makes you feel appreciated. Even though I know I am not the only one to appreciate you, I am someone too. My name is Hassan Siddiqui, a 24-year-old passionate creative writer and author from Pakistan. I am writing to thank you for all that you have done and do every day for mankind, for this world, and for this entire universe.

Just like everybody, there was a time in my life when I was a kid. I still remember that I used to look up at the stars with my mom from our rooftop. She would tell me so many things about constellations and the moon. By listening to those wonderful stories by her, I began to dream about the mysteries that lie in our universe. Those moments with her were absolutely magical.

I was only 14 when my mother passed away in a car accident. It was one of the toughest times of my life. But you know what, I found comfort by looking up at the stars. Those stars were a way of connecting to my mother, a constant reminder of the dreams we used to talk about. But guess who kept those dreams alive for me? YOU, yes NASA, you did.

Since I was a kid, I wanted to be a part of NASA, to write stories about space. Through my stories, I wanted to inspire others as you have inspired me. My struggles, however, took me on different paths in life. But I kept this wish in my heart and still keep it.

The work you do means so much to me. You push the boundaries and reach for the stars. Whenever I think of who can make the impossible possible in this world and beyond, you come to my mind. You explore the universe like no other and show us its true beauty. You tell us about the infinite possibilities that lie in our universe and you show our unique place in the cosmos.

NASA, you are a hope of many people. Generations after generations are getting inspired by you, you encourage us to look above and wonder. You are the reason why countless children dream. You are the reason why my mother and I knew how it feels to land on the moon. Your passion for exploration is a gift to the world.

Your every mission and every discovery gives us a deeper understanding of the universe. You expand our knowledge, you make us learn new things every day, and you show us new angels of the cosmos.

NASA, you impact the lives of many. Your work reaches directly into our hearts. It makes us curious and encourages us to dream big and go far.

My body, my heart, my mind, my soul, and every inch of my being is thankful to you. The way you inspire, the knowledge you share, and the hope you give is truly priceless. My words are not enough to tell you how much you have touched my life.

For everything you have done and do, Thank You. For being limitless, for always aiming big, for exploring the unknown, the hidden. You know very well how to make the world a better place. You explore the stars, but in reality, you are the star yourself.

NASA, in every darkness, you are a source of light. You give us happiness and meaning to our lives. You are a supporter of dreamers who look up with curiosity and hope. You honor the memory of my mother, and for that, I am forever grateful.

With deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks,
Hassan
