Write For The Female Times.

Welcome to The Female Times!

The Female Times believes in standing for truth. We believe in raising our voice for issues that affect women’s lives. To play our part, we started this publication where we aim to write stuff that raises awareness and addresses women’s issues that they face in their daily lives. We especially want women to join this publication and write about their experiences and lives. We aim to make The Female Times a place where females feel safe enough to express their voices in the form of articles, essays, and stories. Below you will find all the information that you need to write for The Female Times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Articles between 250 to 700 words that highlight and represent real-life female issues.
  • Personal essays between 300 to 1500 words about an issue you faced or an experience you had that describes a problem.
  • Short stories between 400 to 2000 words that talk about a situation in which females face any issue. Stories can be fictional or real but they must describe a real-life issue.

Articles, essays, and stories can talk about issues that females face at any age. As a little girl, young woman, or old. As long as you are writing about females, you can write about any age.

For New Writer’s Understanding:

If you are writing about an occasion of your life, it will be called a personal essay. In the personal essays, writers talk about their personal life events and experiences.

In the articles, we don’t talk about what we went through and what we did. In articles, we only share our opinions/perspectives/thoughts about something.

In the story, we tell a story (it can be fictional or real, it can be about us or someone else. But it should be a story with a beginning, middle, and end.) Here “beginning” doesn’t mean you should describe the birth of the character and the “end” doesn’t mean your story should end with the character’s death. But yes, if birth and death are essential elements of your story, you should definitely include them.

Things To Note:

  • Your content should be 100% original. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
  • The work you are submitting should be previously unpublished.
  • Before submitting your article, essay, or story, please make sure it is error-free and well written according to your best abilities.
  • You should place an image at the top of your writing. A great website you can take free non-copyrighted images from is https://unsplash.com/. You can also use images created by you.
  • If you are submitting a short story, use the tag “Short Story.” For a personal essay, use “Personal Essay” and for the article “Article.” Other than these required tags, you can use other tags of your choice but they should be related to your work.
